GFWC Service Project

At the 2022 GFWC Annual Convention, GFWC is teaming up with USO for an amazing, hands-on service project that supports the USO Care Package Program. USO provides service members with a connection to home through care packages that best suit the needs of our military men and women. The program harkens back to the USO’s early years, when Americans packed boxes full of little “tastes of home” to keep deployed service members connected to the people, places, and things they cherish.
Ways to Participate
Donate
Provide the comfort and care that make a difference for service members stationed far from home. Donate funds to help GFWC purchase specific, travel-sized hygiene products needed for 500 care packages:
$15.00 (One Package)
$45.00 (Three Package)
$75.00 (Five Package)
You can donate when you register or through the Member Portal’s donation page where you can also indicate alternative dollar amounts above $25. Or organize a club fundraiser and make a donation on behalf of your club. While we hope to see you in New Orleans, you do not have to attend Convention to donate to this service project.
Assemble
Join other 2022 GFWC Annual Convention attendees in assembling 500 toiletry care packages for service members. This service project is an opportunity to help the USO care for military men and women while getting to know other Convention attendees and reconnecting with old friends.
GFWC will provide the specific toiletries needed for the care packages.
